FEM 2.521 - Apron Conveyors: Design principles

Apron conveyors are continuous conveyors, with chains as driving components, and with flat, (corrugated), or curved plates, flanged of unflanged, spaced or overlapping, as carrying components attached to the chain. The apron conveyors are used for the transport of both loose bulk materials and unit loads.

Please note: These design principles are not applicable to apron conveyors, which are used for silo tapping.
